What Is Powder Coating?

Powder coating is a dry finishing process where electrostatically charged powder is applied to a part and then cured in an oven at high heat. The result is a tough, smooth finish that:

Bonds directly to the metal — no peeling, cracking, or chipping like rattle-can paint
Resists UV, corrosion, chemicals, and the salt-air environment of Maui
Available in hundreds of colors and finishes — gloss, matte, satin, wrinkle, and more
More environmentally friendly than solvent-based spray painting — no VOCs

The finish is 2–3x thicker than conventional paint and significantly more impact-resistant — ideal for frames, subframes, swingarms, foot pegs, racks, and any part that takes abuse.

Drop-off & inspection — Bring your part in or send photos. We'll quote you on the spot.
Strip & prep — Existing paint, rust, and coatings are removed. Parts are chemically prepped for maximum adhesion.
Powder application — Powder is electrostatically applied for even, full coverage.
Oven cure — Parts are baked to a hard, durable finish.
Inspection & pickup — Final quality check before you take it home.
